1999 Ducati Monster in Kansas City, MO

1999 Ducati Monster

1999 Ducati Limited Edition Monster Cromo 900. One of 101 produced (documented). 3000 original miles, one owner, clear title. This was the first and only year for the carburated model. The model was reintroduced for 2001 with fuel injection, then discontinued again. The 1999 Cromo model is believed by many to be the most valuable of all the carbureted 900 Monsters. ?The Cromo is obviously unique because of its chrome tank. However, in 1999 the Cromo also received the adjustable front forks and the higher-output 74hp engine. Cosmetically it shared many styling cues with the 900S, such as the black frame and wheels and carbon fiber front fender. In addition, the Chromo was decked out with a carbon fiber rear fender and rear seat cover. There was no Cromo model for 2000, and by the time it reappeared in 2001 with fuel injection, Ducati had robbed the bike of the adjustable front suspension. Accessories include: Roadracing brand brushed aluminum and carbon fiber tail section; Ducati carbon fiber dash kit with analog tach; Ducati carbon fiber air vent panels; Nichols Kick stand bolt, Factory center stand; Tank protector; Carbon fiber FBF exhaust pipes; FBF steering plate; Dr Desmo aluminum dipstick; Dr Desmo license plate bracket (X bracket eliminator); chrome clutch master and slave reservoir lids. K&N air filter. Oberon Billet Clutch slave (not installed). Motorcycle cover, Chase Harper luggage (3 pieces), hard-wired Battery Tender, Service and Parts manuals included. Authorized dealer serviced, including belts. All OEM stock items are also included, including carbon fiber seat cowl (converts the seat into a solo seat).
